Where is the best place in Fife to go?

Any tips for new MNetters in the area?

We're thinking of driving into Dunfermline for the fireworks in Pittencrieff Park. Does anyone know where the best place to park is and how early we should get there? Will there be any chance of getting parking in the Kingsgate centre?

From experience in Dundee, I can tell you that parking close to the park is an utter nightmare. I left the car and walked home last year (should have walked in the first place!)

Maybe Dunfermline is a bit better than that though. Will post if I get an answer.
