Hey Ladies - sorry if there is a thread already out there but I'm hoping for some guidance on what you think are the state schools to go for near Purley for the Sept 2014 intake.
We've been to the open days of Chipstead, Smitham (not sure if we would get into these anyway cos of the distance) and are yet to go to Margaret Roper and Beaumont. Woodcote is near us but another mum mentioned to me that after the "Needs Improv" status from Ofsted, the head came across defensive at their open day and put her off for that, even though she went with an open mind.
what other schools should I consider?
