My DD is 3 and I think she'll get something out of bonfire night this year - any recommendations on which ones are good?

Meadowbank or Hopetoun house are the 2 which I've heard good things about.

George Watsons had a lovely display last year. The early session starts at 4.30pm and is very child friendly.

thanks to you both - will check them out!

If you google Scottish Love in Action you'll see the details re the fireworks at Watsons.

Ha! I just googled it as I thought it would be quite nice. £26 for a family ticket.

They can shove it up their arse! I'll stand outside.

It is for a charity though. Oxgangs do a traditional bonfire and I'm sure they have upped their safety protocols after last years "explosive" display. It's on Youtube if you want a gander.

I didn't mind paying it for the charity. Plus there were fire dancers (outside pyrotechnics), a singing performance and pipe band(school kids). Ds was delighted.
