Craiglockhart mums - Oxgangs Primary info?

We are soon to be moving to Craiglockhart area where the catchment is Oxgangs and I am struggling to find info about the school. Lots of friends with kids at Bruntsfield, Gillespies, South Morningside and Bonaly who keep telling me how amazing those schools are so I am getting a bit nervous as I've not heard so many positive (or negative) stories about Oxgangs. Do any Craiglockhart mums out there have any info they can share about Oxgangs? Good school? Happy with it? Are the children happy? etc etc....Thanks!!!

I have friends with children at Oxgangs and they are happy with the school. It just seems to be silly complaints similar to what I have had about my children's school. All the children have seemed to be happy.

Its a new built school and there have been a few changes in staff in recent years which has been for the best.

ok - thanks ladies, useful info. So no negative comments so far, but no comments saying that it's BRILLIANT either....Anyone else out there know anything positive or negative about it? x

I wouldn't say my son's school is brilliant and I know my friend who's boys go to Bonaly, doesn't class it as excellent. In fact she thinks the staff are on their knees and a lot of sickness going on at the moment.
