I have recently moved house and found out that I'm pregnant ( 
). Phoned maternity services yesterday to book my first appointment, but they couldn't do anything as I am outside of the catchment area of my previous health centre. Registered at a new one today, but they told me that it will take a good few days before I'm in the system and that I will get a letter when it's sorted. Does anyone know if it's worth phoning maternity services tomorrow/Thursday anyway or do I just have to wait? Also, does anyone know what the queues are like for the booking appointment and first scan? Thanks for any help!
