Hello - Would you like to be in a film about how good birth can be?
I'm one of UKs most experienced Hypnobirthing teachers and a film maker.
My colleagues in the birth world: hypnobirthing teachers, midwives, active birth teachers and NCT teachers are appalled by 'One Born Every Minute' and every TV programme that reinforces negative stereotypes about birth; that portray an unnecessarily medicalised experience of birth, and that only increase fear and anxiety.
So, to start to redress the balance, I'm making a short film about how birth doesn't have to be as seen on OBEM, how you can prepare and enjoy a good birth in hospital.
I'm offering a FREE hypnobirthing course to couples who would like to learn how to have a gentle birth in hospital and who are willing for me to film part of their birth. Naturally, I understand that this is highly sensitive.
