Play dates?

Hi I have two little girls- 8 months and almost two. My almost two year old is in nursery Monday and Tuesday but at home with me the rest of the week. I was wondering if anyone with similar aged children would be interested in organising play dates? I am keen for my almost two year old to mix socially with other children and at the same time would be great to meet some new people myself! I am in Muswell hill but can easily travel.

I'm the local ambassador for Crouch End, Muswell Hill, and Wood Green. I organise the Meet Ups in these areas, do look out for the next one! I'm at home with a 2 yr old boy, and also have 5 year old and 9 year old dd's. Our meet up group is just establishing itself, everyone still getting to know one another, and babies ranging in age (4 week old's - 2 years). So it'd be great to meet you at one of these! I know Muswell Hill have a number of stay and play groups, some run from churches in the area. It might be worth seeing what these are like! Bye for now :)

Some local playgroups Ive seen karen include some at CUFOS (top of the avenue, back of Ally Pally) and at North Bank on Pages Lane (near the shell garage). Heard good things about both of them. Also seen that on Alexandra Park Road the Maid of Muswell does a coffee morning on a Monday for mums and babies and the ceramics shop opposite does an NCT coffee morning on Tuesdays (may be every other Tuesday?).

Check out the notice boards in jojo bebe maman, and the children's bookshop too as i think they advertise local groups.

Next meet up @ the Railway Tavern on Crouch Hill, next Wednesday.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons between noon and
three they have a play area and toys in the pub for ladies (or chaps)
with babies who would like to have a spot of lunch! Sounds great!
