Leicester & Loughborough grammar schools

Does anyone have any information, impressions, children there, please? I'd love to hear from you.

My son is at Cubs, and the 'Young Leader' in his pack attends Loughborough Grammar School. I know he did very well in his GCSE's and is currently doing A Levels. He has been encouraged to do the young leader role by school, and has also done a weekly work experience with a local vet. He is able to communicate with the boys, other leaders and parents, and while that clearly doesn't only come from schooling, must partly be due to the role models and experience he has had at school.

Are those the grammar schools that are primary AND secondary? If so, I know someone who is moving specifically to go to Loughborough grammar.
