Brownie Leader wanted

We're going to be short of one Brownie Leader in Royal Wootton Bassett in 2014, and we're looking for volunteers.

Have you ever fancied getting involved with Guiding, or have you been involved in Guiding in the past and would like to take it up again?

We meet on Friday evenings, and would be happy to welcome people to come along on a trial basis. PM me if you're interested.

It is such a shame when youth groups struggle. So many of our children enjoy going to guides/brownies/cubs etc. yet often the biggest challenge facing them is getting enough adults to help out.

I'm due to have dc4 in a matter of weeks so am not well placed at the moment. Wishing you every luck though.

If you come across anyone who enjoys spending time with children, who has a few hours to spare on an evening, and wants to do some voluntary work - please tell them to get in touch.

How are things with your group resourcing, are you still in need of an additional leader/volunteer?
I am at Old Town 12th on a Tuesday and would be happy to help you out if you're still in need, either short-term or long-term. I wouldn't be able to commit to every single Friday but a large % of them.

Have you found a helper at all?
I currently live in Wootton Bassett, work in a preschool in swindon and am currently looking at helping in a brownies or rainbows, and am 21. I have been a member of rainbows, brownies and guides myself.

What would it entitle to help out? What days would be required as I am quite busy with work and uni but could give a few hours on a Friday night to help out
