Does anyone have a child there? What do you think of it? It's our closest school but we are concerned about its recent failings and poor ofsted. We've just been to an open day and of course they told us lots of positive things but I would like the opinion of a parent...

I'm assuming you mean Selwyn, Newham? If so I took my children frommtherevtwo years ago after hearing and seeing some unpleasant behaviour from staff. Saying that the staff may have changed since then.

My children transferred to Monega, not to far away (but a car ride) and were really happy there until we moved recently, they were heart broken to leave the place. I can't reccomend MOnega enough! They had some incredible staff whilst there and it felt very personal and community based.
