I am looking at moving to Ringwood in Hampshire, currently in London. I wondered if anyone lived there, if they are happy and would recommend it, also what are the childcare facilities like, is there a good choice of nurseries etc.

Any input on the area and thought of childcare welcome.
Thanks

Hi Katie

I assume you are happy in Ringwood, do you find it family friendly, we have had a couple of visits down and it appears to be a family friendly place, I have researched nurseries and childminders and I have to admit, there doesnt seem to be that many to choose from, lots of pre schools. do you use any? If so are you happy with them?
Any thoughts are apprictaed.

There are 3 great/ excellent nurseries I can think of, on the top of my head & I don't live in Ringwood anymore.

Avon Heath Nature Nursery, Ellingham Nursery & Greyfriars Pre-school.

Greyfriars is in the town centre & is a hub of activity, with alsorts of children's activities going on. The library next door offers sessions for little ones.

David Lloyd offers a good kids creche, also with good children's activities for the over 3's. Moors Valley, has buggy workouts & again lots of kids activities.

I don't live in Ringwood but seem to spend all my time driving there for one thing or another. It's a great place to live (if you can find the right house!).

Any questions pm me.
