High schools in urmston/stretford/ashton

Just a quickie to gauge peoples' views/knowledge on Ashton-on-Mersey High school & Stretford High school please.

Flixton is our local school which we like but I need to find other options too, just in case.

AOM school is great, DS goes there. It's brilliant for sport, and they get the most out of each student.
They've had outstanding OFSTED 5 times in a row (all the inspections they've had), and are very hot on uniform, attendance and punctuality.
The catchment isn't huge though (under a mile most years) so check where your house is relative to previous years' catchment areas.
