This year looking to do something different, over the last few years tried somewhere new every year for Santa.

we've done Centerparcs Xmas, Keilder Xmas, and last year did the Polar Express in Weardale Railway, .all of the above I would recommend, any suggestions ?

I'm thinking of Beamish Xmas evening but can't find many reviews of it, or anywhere on my doorstep I've overlooked ?Any suggestions welcome.

Mine really enjoyed Tanfield Railway's Santa when they were little and Thomas the Tank engine mad.

We've also done Beamish at Christmas, although we didn't do Santa, as they no longer believed Sad in him. They had a great time at Beamish though and it was lovely set out as Christmas 1913.

Not quite Santa, but Saltwell Park's Enchanted Park is usually good. They change the park into a Winter wonderland themed place, using art installations, very family friendly.

We are hoping to see Santa at Belsay hall this year, they are doing a wartime Christmas theme, hopefully not too austere Grin

Beamish is fantastic at Christmas, they light it all up and have fake snow in places
