Hello…

We have been talking about relocating to Devon for several years and have finally decided now is the time to take the plunge before our two girls get too old to move easily. Smile

We have fallen in love with a house in Morchard Road, near Morchard Bishop but not knowing the area that well I really need advise on whether this is a good spot for a young family before we go for it. I think the QE in Credition would be our secondary school, does anybody know what that is like?

Would other locations be better for chidlren? I don't want the fact I have fallen for this house to cloud what is the biggest decision of our lives Confused as ultimately a house is just a house at the end of the day Smile and I want them to be happy.

I run my own business from home so location is not an issue for me but hubby would need to commute to Exeter or even possibly Bristol so that needs to be factored in but he is not worried about an hour or so journey time as that is what he does now.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated… x

I hear there's quite a nice community in mid Devon, but you'd definitely need a car out there, it can be quite isolated, although Morchard Bishop has the advantage of a train link. Think QE is pretty good, too - I've only second-hand info on that though.
