Doctor, Dentist recommendations

Hi there, I'm moving to Shrewsbury in a months time and will need to register at the doctor's as well as book in with a new midwife. Any recommendations for a doctor's surgery in the town centre?

I'd also like to register with an NHS dentist so if anyone knows of one that's taking on NHS patients at the moment I'd really appreciate you letting me know. Thanks all

Claremont Bank are alright. Haven't had any major issues there, been with them over 6 years.

Dentists - avoid Pride Hill practice like the plague. They referred me to have my perfectly healthy wisdom teeth out. Dentist who was meant to be doing the extraction refused point blank as they were too healthy to remove. I've lost all faith in Pride Hill after that, but have still to find an alternative.

Hi Stetsons not been on the local site for a while and only just seen your reply. Thanks very much for the tips, coming down for a few days next week so hoping to get things sort then. Need to book in with the midwife sharpish as I'm 34 weeks already, eek!

With regard to dentists , Gareth Jenkins on Town Walls is fab. He can run late on appointments but is worth it, in my opinion anyway.
