Hi mumsnetters

Hoping to get some suggestions from fellow mumsnetters:) We are moving from Malaysia back to UK by end of nov. We have limited time to find a place to rent and so i want to get in touch with some estate agents before we arrive. We have basically a week to find a place. Could someone pls suggest some good estate agents for rental in Norwich.

We are looking at areas such as Wymondham, cringleford, hethersett etc. i picked these areas based on what i read on mumsnet. We have a three month old son, so ideally want to be in an area or close to an area which has a nice community feel, nearby playskools etc. Are there other areas you would suggest so that i can take our son easily to playschool and go to shops etc. ideally a nice residential area where i can can easily drive from to playschools, shops etc. I will be a stay at home mom so would also be great to meet some moms!

I used to live just outside norwich, on that side but don't know the area well. What I do know though is other locals so I shall point them in this direction

Hi I just moved to Norwich from Surrey and we looked at the places you mention but decided on Eaton based on the school and the friendliness of the local MNers. We looked at the schools in Wymondham but they were really rude to us which put us off. Eaton is lovely though, the people are really friendly and the school is good. It's only 5-10 minutes to drive to the centre of Norwich and parking is cheap. There's lots of play groups to go to. I've got one at the local preschool too which I am also happy with. We are renting but looking to buy. We have had a good experience with our agent, Darren at together lettings (www.together-lettings.com). The best thing is that they operate well by email so you don't have to be on the phone all the time and they answer emails or of hours. Good luck!
