New to Southsea..

Hello girls, Hope you are all keeping well.
Just joined this site so here goes...

Have just recently moved down to Portsmouth from Guildford, so saying goodbye to a life of lots of mummy friends, baby and toddler classes, and basically knowing where I am going!! I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter who has just started pre school at Mayville in Southsea, so trying to find things to do with my 13month old son in the area.

Wondering if anyone fancies joining us for a walk or just to say hi, as I don't know anyone in the area and loneliness is seriously starting to kick in. We live in Southsea near the 27 restaurant, so nice and close to the seafront.

I'm not in Southsea, but a bit further out. You are pretty lucky with your location as there is loads and I mean loads to do in Southsea - I have to travel in to do some things. I've got a 10 month old son and a 5 year old daughter who has just started reception. I'd love to meet up with you. Is there a day that's good for you? I know a few good cafes in Southsea, and we could have a wander from there?

Hi TudorMaryRose, thank you for your message. Not quite sure how to send a private message on this site to organise. Where abouts are you?
Would be really lovely to meet up for a coffee and chat, my daughter is at preschool in the mornings so a Tuesday really would be the best day for me. Is that any good for you?
I am really rubbish at getting to know the area so only know Palmerston Road bit of Southsea.

Hi Dylan, what area of Portsmouth are you in? I'm setting up some new meet ups shortly, so you could come along to one of those. My son is 1, so I'm looking for venues where we can actually put the children down, because it is no fun trying to drink tea and chat when wrestling a child that size!
