moving to East Neuk - any advice

My dh and I are seriously thinking of moving from Gloucestershire to East Neuk, our favourites being Crail and Lower Largo. is there anything we should be aware of?

We lived in the East Neuk for a while, before moving to more NE fife. I liked it there, but I did find it took a long time to get anywhere. For instance to Edinburgh/Dundee it takes 20-30 minutes to just get to a main road (A91/A92). There are no large supermarkets nearby, though this is a problem in most of this end of Fife
