Does anyone use the guided bus?

DH and I are looking at houses, and villages north of Cambridge are attractive because we seem to be priced out of Cambridge (unless we want a small 3-bed semi that needs a lot of work, budget 300k) and I have a couple of friends in that area.

I'm liking the look of Swavesey, Fenstanton and St Ives. But how long does it take to get to the Science Park and Addenbrookes on the guided bus at peak times? (I know there are timetables online, but I want to know how long it REALLY takes) And more importantly, is it reliable?

Sorry for the boring question!

have some collegues get it to the science park from st ives - seem quite reliable 30 mins or so? To addenbrookes would be quite a bit longer another 30 mintutes or so at least

I get it occasionally from Histon, anywhere up the Science Park is fine because it doesn't go on normal roads at all. It's far better than the A14, the problem is from the Science Park to the Station, where it's in Cambridge traffic, but can get back on the busway from the station to Addenbrookes. I think it's not a bad service if you are coming from that end of town
