Hi my name is Caroline.I have two beautiful children a little girl of nearly two and a boy of nine.I'm looking to make new friends as I don't really like going to stay and play as I don't know anybody and it gets pretty boring so I thought I'd give this a go.I'm nearly 35 years old and happily married after three years of trying to get him up the aisle.

Hi Rachel

I'm aware that this isn't the 'cool' way to make friends but its the I suppose 'new way' to do it. I just want a set of 'mummy friends'. I'm not interested in going.out and drinking anymore, been there, done that. I need a coffee in the morning and to wake up fresh the next day haha. My DS is absolutely full of it so I always have to take him out and I'm sick of sitting in parks on my own etc.

I drive but I don't have the car in the week so I use the bus and I work part time. I have a lovely big family. I am a genuinely good friend and will go the extra mile for anyone and I do try to be abit of a domestic goddess. ha!

Hi Racheal,

My name is susan, I live in middleton, I too am fed up of sitting in parks and going to play centres alone with my 18 month old son. I have a car so manage to get out and about most days, but usualy alone because my friends are working or don't have children.

Would be nice to meet up, for a coffee a nosey around mothercare, play centres ect.

HI. I don't know if anyone can help me but here goes. We moved to Heywood Lancs a couple of years ago. I have a 19 year old daughter who hasn't got any friends in this neck of the woods. She is a little on the quiet side till she gets to know people which makes it difficult to make new friends. She isn't sporty. I am looking for ideas for things/places to go where she can meet people her own age can anyone help me?
