Don't believe a word about moving here because of the good schools in Kingston Upon Thames. Yes they are here but most of them (and all of the good ones) remain a mere dream to most Kingston residents. The admissions system is farcical and the preference form may as well be called a wish-list. The Tiffin Schools have a catchment area that seems as big as the UK while admitting fewer than half of local residents into their hallowed halls. I wish we'd never moved here only now we're trapped as any other good schools elsewhere will have already filled their places.
