Roseburn primary and the neighbourhood

Hello lovely mums,
I am writing this post on behalf of my friend who will be relocating to Edinburgh in a couple of months.She wants to know about Roseburn primary as they are renting a house in Murrayfield.I stay in Leith so have no idea abt Murrayfield area and the primary.She said she was looking for a friendly school and definitely not overcrowded!Your comments will be of great help.Thanks.

It's a fairly smallish school compared to others around it, but it's lovely and welcoming. If I was in that area, I would have no hesitations in sending my children there.

Really lovely little school, know a number of families very happy there. Would recommend! And we go to a great toddler group in Murray field too:)
