Moving to Bracknell

Hi there,

We are looking to move to Bracknell and I m hoping you might have some advice...

We don't know the area at all but have seen lots of properties on Rightmove in Priestwood, Martins Heron, Easthampstead, Harmans Water and Great Hollands. Just wondered if anyone had any advice on these areas, what the local schools are like and if there are any places to avoid.

Hello-sorry I missed this post as I was adjusting to life with s new baby! have you had any luck? without wanting to insult anyone, my advice would be to possibly avoid great Hollands and priestwood and look more at Easthampstead or Martins heron. Do you need to be near town or stations? school wise there are two Good ones in eh-St Michaels which is a small Catholic school and f hard to get into and wildridings primary. There is also fox Hill primary which is on the same site as the local children's centre. Not so sure about schools in priestwood area.

All the estates have local shops and parks, everything is linked by good walking and cycling paths and the first is on our doorstep! feel free to pm me if you think I might be able to help! X
