School term holidays

Have your school told you that you cannot take term time holidays anymore? What do you think? Do you agree it is a bad idea to interupt their schooling or do you think it is ok to take a holiday?

I will be taking my 4 year old on holiday a week before Christmas..... She just started Reception and I was told during "Home Visit" that the head of school will be moaning but she will eventually agree as the compulsory education is from the age of 5.

You have a valid point there, your child will be under 5. My own children won't be taken away during term time this year as my oldest is doing his GCSE's in the summer (final year of school).
