Is a FREE brand new platform launched last night to for nursery/reception children.
With the move from part-time nursery to full-time school being very daunting and upsetting for some little one’s we’ve created BIG SCHOOL BUDDIES so that you can meet the mummies, daddies & other carers within your child’s upcoming reception class BEFORE they join giving your child a friendly face and a hand to hold during their first few nervous weeks of Big School.
Currently we are trying to aid the children who have join reception this past week. Some are unsettled and with the prospect of ‘full-days’ looming we’d like to buddy up as many as we can so they can walk to school together (or meet at the gate) possibly making the whole experience a little less upsetting for both the children and carers alike.
Let’s face it: “The world isn’t quite so big & scary when there’s someone to hold your hand.”
We currently have LIVE active chats in our Sherwood Park Primary, Bedonwell Infants, Old Bexley C of E & Days Lane School groups. If you’d wish to join a group to find a buddy for your little one please go to our Facebook page to find your school:
