Have seen a thread on the main MN site asking what Christmasdy trips everyone is doing this year but...there's not much local stuff on.

So what's everyone in Staffordshire got planned for this Christmas? What's good and more importantly, what's a waste of money?

We've been to Christmas at Thomasland before, DS was Thomas obsessed so we had a really good day out. Anyone else been?

I’ve just started on here and I’m (slowly) getting all the listings together. I’ve got a load of Christmas events to go up in Lichfield.
From personal experience last year we went to get a ‘real’ tree from Birches Valley on Cannock Chase and there was a little grotto and things happening there. They have more things going on this year and it’s a good way of getting festive without spending too much.

Don't worry, I've done it loads of times. The Cannock thing does sound good. We are quite far away, in fact just over the border in Cheshire but DH goes to Cannock for some MTB so perhaps I can persuade him to combine his trip
