Music Lessons (pref piano) paid with childcare vouchers?

Hi, my husband receives part of his salary in childcare vouchers as part of a salary sacrifice scheme. According to the scheme administrator we can use them to pay for music lessons but we are yet to find a teacher that accepts them. Just wondering if anyone knows of such a teacher? We live in South Bristol but would be happy to find one in the Bristol area generally. Or maybe there is a music teacher out there who is interested and willing/able to comply with the scheme? Our vouchers are held with Computershare Voucher Services. There is information on their website.

Thank you in advance

I don't know of one, I'm afraid - is it worth looking for someone who does both childminding and music teaching on the assumption they're more likely to take vouchers? Thinking of someone like Tina the Tutor (though she doesn't teach music, she teaches English/French/German - www.facebook.com/TinaTheTutor )

Just had a look at childcare.co.uk and realised you can search for music tutors who do babysitting on there - any of these useful?

Obviously they might still not take vouchers, but given that they do babysitting it might be more likely to be worth their while to get set up for vouchers?

Hello
I'm in exactly the same situation. I have been trying to find a piano/ violin or any music teacher who can accept childcare vouchers but I have not been successful... the term no teacher seems to have heard of !!!
I get vouchers from computershare and my husband gets them from Edenred .. both of which are popular and leading companies for childcare vouchers...yet many people do not have a clue what childcare vouchers are .. I live in whitstable though so not quite near your area... but please if you find any information let me know. I have also tried searching for childcare minders who are Ofsted registered who also teach music but again I have not got far with it either ! I have even tried to ask a piano teacher to register with Ofsted and was happy to pay her higher lesson fees but she did not have time to go through the hassle of registering with Ofsted !!

Another person also wondering about this! Also thinking about the bigger drama classes - does anyone know if they take them?

Hello albat

There is a drama school in Bracknell called Artemis studios who is Ofsted registered and accepts childcare vouchers. This is far for you I guess. It is far for me too and I can't make use of it either. This childcare vouchers issue has really been bothering me for a very long time.... hardly any places accept them and I am still struggling to find after school music or sports activities that accept them. I think we need to increase awareness among people and encourge organisations to sign up for them and start accepting them as payment. It helps them for their business and helps us parents too so it is a win win situation. Please if anyone find any information post it. Thanks
