Any great nurseries or child minders in north Bucks?

Just that, need either urgently, as arranged childcare has turned out to be pretty inadequate. Am back at work next Wednesday and prepared to pay whatever to ensure decent care.
Any ideas or recommendations? Am in Stony Stratford.

I realise this is a rather specific question - am prepared to travel a bit to eat decent care..... Maybe this is too long a shot.

Slave, not sure about their availability but friends in and around Stoney Stratford use Acorn nurseries and are very happy.

I'm South MK and use Monkeypuzzle nursery which I'd recommend for the fab staff and the care my DD gets but it's probably a bit far.

The MK Council website also lists registered CM although I've never used any so can't offer any recommendations. Have you registered on the MN local page?

Home Farm in Swanbourne is a great little nursery - small and seems very caring. Know a couple of people with little one's there who are very happy with it - is quite far from Stony but not undoable

I used Brambles Nursery in Singleborough for my 2 dc for over 7 years in total. Both dc loved it there, lovely rural location, fantastic staff and despite that, it only used to take me about 10-15 minutes from central MK. When I was looking for a nursery, it took me longer to get across MK at peak times despite being significantly shorter in distance so don't discount it just on the mileage.

I've done the Singleborough to Stony Stratford run a few times; there's a back road that joins the two almost directly so it only takes 10-15 mins to get between the two.

My little one goes to Busy Bees on the hospital site. Brilliant, has done wonders for her. Might be a little far out from Stony, but it depends on your route in to work.
Little one has been there since she was 9 months.
