Hello
When we come to St Ives area for our holiday our toddler would like to go rock pooling...what are your favourite rock pooling beaches? TIA

Well.... The St Ives beaches are ok, but it is more sandy, better for building dates than hunting for sea creatures.

I would actually recommend a drive over to Falmouth, in fact to Castle Beach. The whole beach is an entire bank of shallow rocks, many a happy day do I spend there even though mine are quite big now. Beach well equipped with ramp down to sand, cafe and decent clean toilets. Swanpool is also good too, and safe.

It is also I think it really is worth a drive over to the Roseland, take the car ferry from Feock nr Falmouth.., Porthcurnick, Towan, St Mawes, absolutely fabulous and well worth the trip.
