Toddler or playgroups in Whitley Bay

After many months of waiting, we are about a week away from our big relocation up to Whitley Bay.
My DS is 2.2yrs and I am wondering if anyone can recommend either a toddler group or playgroup within Whitley Bay. We will be moving to quite close to the town centre but can walk or bike to most places.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you have luck finding a Playgroup in Whitley Bay? If so it would be great to get it added to the listings.

Hi,

I got him into Whitley Lodge Under 5s playgroup which he loves. He also goes to Acorn Toddlers on a Tuesday morning.

I also take him to Splat Centre regularly which he adores and would move into if he could.

Lots of the groups have waiting lists, some of which we are still on, but they will be useful for new dd when she is a bit bigger!

Sounds like you are settling in well and I am glad your ds is happy at his playgroups.

My ds also likes splat, but to be honest he is just happy as long as he can run and climb!
