Our daughter Pepa is now 7 months old and sadly planning for Mums return to work. I am half Spanish and we are looking to employ a Spanish speaking nanny so that Pepa grows up bi-lingual or at least is given a good start in speaking the language. We wondered if anyone was interested in sharing a qualified child minder/nanny? We have not found a candidate yet so anyone interested can have equal say in who's chosen and we are also happy to either accommodate the kids being looked after at our place in E5 or share, perhaps alternating spending the weeks being looked after at each of our houses. Ideally we are looking for a family with a child of a similar age, who also want 4 days per week (Mon -Thurs) and who live close by. However we are happy to consider all options e.g. a younger or older child, fewer days, shorter hours etc.
I have done some research and there are some very well qualified nannies available. By virtue of sharing the costs, this would be cheaper than a nursery, has the benefit of being very convenient and gifting our children with another language.
