Wimbledon

We are considering moving to London. Is Wimbledon a nice, child friendly area? We have 2 boys, 4 and 17 months. How does Wimbledon compare to Hampstead, Harpenden and Richmond?

Super family friendly. It is great, lots of young families and plenty to do. I love I. I don't know the other areas.

It's extremely child friendly. I have two boys 4 and 10 months and moved here a year ago after being in central London. I love Wimbledon. Amazing green spaces and smaller parks, tons of activities, good schools and loads of baby groups etc. I've so far persuaded two friends to move here too. Richmond is also lovely. I don't know hampstead very well but I think you'd get more for your money in SW19.

Although not quite the Nappy Valley that Wandsworth is it's not far off. Plenty of good schools and within the catchment area for the selective schools too with good bus links to them.
