moving to denmead area?

Hi, my husband is leaving me and our 1yr old son so I'm thinking about relocating near to my family who live in Denmead. Any recommendations as to where to go/avoid within a few miles radius would be great. Thanks

Horndean is very nice, Cowplain also good. Leigh Park is a large estate - so you will get a lot more house for your money but it may not be your cup of tea if you like Denmead. There is Purbrook and Waterlooville. Wecock Farm isn't so nice. You could move a little further afield and try Drayton or Farlington which is closer to Portsmouth but not on the Portsea Island. Clanfield is nice but expensive, as is Lovedean. Best thing to do is come and visit and have a drive around in the evenings so you can get a real idea of what it is like to live there.
