Any air traffic in Wimbledon?

We're going to be moving next spring and are starting to think about potential areas. We love our current neighbourhood, but the plane noise from Heathrow is really annoying. Is it a problem at all in Wimbledon?

No. We do see planes but they're much higher up so no noise.

I disagree with THOM, there is a certain amount of air traffic noise but it is bearable from my point of view, I don't tend to hear it unless the DCs point to passing planes in the sky.

Yes, it seems everyone has a different level of tolerance or awareness of the planes. Even where I am now in Ealing some people say they don't notice them, even though you actually have to put any conversation on hold until the plane passes.

Minor noise (ie, planes high up) wouldn't bother me; it's the deafeningly low-flying ones we want to escape.
