Where do live in Solihull??

Hello,

Moving up from London and not sure where to live...our budget is max 500k and we can't really take on a project-needs to be liveable. Baby is 15 months old and hubby will be commuting to London so needs to be close to the airport.

Had secured a new build in Meriden which we loved but it fell through. Have now found a house on st Bernard's road (another new build) but not sure it's as desirable a location especially in terms of resale. I love hampton-in-arden etc but worried about HS3/flightpath.

Any thoughts??

Thank you :)

I'm not in Solihull but my parents are (near the airport) and I grew up there. I moved up to a bit further south round the M42 so still fairly local.

You won't notice the planes after about a month. So don't worry about them.

I don't know the meriden area as a parent but it is quite small, rural.

Anyway it's nice up here. It'll be a shock leaving London but it's worth it.

I moved from Cardiff to Solihull a few years back.

We lived in Hampton in Arden, it was a lovely village. The airport didn't bother me. I lived close to the church(that. End).
The school is perfect.

The train will be by diddling ton lane, I'm not sure how that would affect Hampton prob the lower part.

Have you thought about knowle?
