Where would you look for a piano teacher?

Hello lovely mums,

I was wondering if I could ask you for a bit of advice.

I am a piano teacher who specialises in teaching young children from 4+ through to university age, however I have found it difficult to discover the best way of locating interested parents (I don't want to spam people for whom my services are irrelevant).

So I would love some advice: If you were looking for a piano or music teacher...where would you look? Are there any community boards, websites or other places you would instantly gravitate towards?

Thanks in advance for any opinions you can give!

Best Wishes

Daniel Peattie

Hi
I have been looking at this problem in reverse - where to look for a piano teacher! I looked in the families (freebie) magazine but it's only showing music schools or groups and I wanted 1 to 1 for a 6yr old (and still do) in west hampstead. nobody seems to know where they advertise - must just be word of mouth!
I would suggest nwFamilies magazine and local newspapers in affluent areas. Otherwise flyers that you could ask schools to have in reception?
Are you any good? lol - How much? West Hampstead...

What areas do you cover, I might be interested.

Have you put your card up in all the music shops? Thats a good place where parents might look.
