Broadland area mums/mums to be?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently 6 months pregnant, expecting our first child in October, and just wanted to find out if there's any other new mums nearby to say hi to? I've never done this whole baby thing before, and I'm also the first out of my friends and in my immediate family to become pregnant, so it's all a bit new to me and I don't really have anyone to talk things through with!

I'm located basically halfway between Norwich and Great Yarmouth, so it would be particularly nice to hear from anyone else who's located nearby and/or in a similar situation. I'm booked into the Acle new parenting classes for September, which is apparently fully booked, so maybe someone else here is too?

Anyway, hope all you other Norfolk dumplings are doing well, it would be lovely to hear from you! Maybe share your experiences with local maternity services or groups, or just to have a bit of a natter!

Hello Dani!

I'm also due in October (end of) and booked onto the Acle classes in September - hooray! Now I'll have a buddy! Smile

Are you on the November group on the main site ante-natal board?

When is your baby due? Are you anywhere near organised yet? (I'm not!) How are you feeling at the moment? Surviving the heat?! I'm melting.

Hiya Spixielady! (Any chance you are from Spixworth?! Haha)

Sorry for the delayed response, I had somewhat forgotten that I posted here!! Whoops!

Due 21st October, so just over 2 months to go now - exciting times! We've just sort of galvanised ourselves into organisation in the past couple of weeks, been buying baby things all over the shop!! The weather seems to have calmed down a little by now, so hopefully you're not suffering so badly anymore!

I'm not part of the November group on the main board, I find that sort of stuff a little bit intimidating lol! :D

Not too long now before our classes start, it will all start feeling even more real then! Hope everything's going well for you so far. I must say, my little one is RIDICULOUSLY wiggly and active, and I can help but find it weird every time I feel considerable movement, but maybe that's just me! :)
