Moving to Orpington

Hi there
I'm 28 weeks pregnant and we're moving to Orpington at the end of the month. Any top tips on maternity hospitals, things to do and places to go?
I don't know anyone in the area and this is my first baby so I'd love to meet some local new mums/mums to be

Hello,
Orpington is a nice place to be a mum! There are lots of different groups, so you're sure to find some you like, but when my first was born, I particularly enjoyed going to 'Just Babies' at St Johns URC church, near the station. The local NCT runs a few different things, including meet ups for expectant mums, and you don't need to be a member to go. I think they tend to publicise them on their Facebook page, so if you're on FB, might be worth looking for that.
