Hello there! I'm staying in Scarborough for a week with my mum, having taken my grandad's hotel room (he's too frail to go 
) and wondered whether anyone would meet up with an, ahem, tourist for a playdate or let me know about some local groups I could go to... 
Got a fab DS who's recently 3. He's just into the playing with other kids stage.
I'm thinking of doing the beach every day and the castle a few times but we both love a good group for a play/tea/natter. Noticed there's one running in Burniston but won't have a car. Is there a bus that way from the centre? Don't mind a walk but think that's pushing it!
What other stuff do you do with your toddlers in Scarborough? Where are the best playgrounds? Just wanted a bit of insider knowledge to make it fun for the both of us. Many many thanks
