Schools

We're in Mornington Street and our DD is just 9 months but the debate about schools is already in full flow. Am planning on going to open days at our nearest schools but does anyone have any info about Hawley, Primrose Hill, Richard Cobden etc? We love being so close to the park etc but will have to move at some point to get more space so not sure whether to do it before school or not. Now I understand why parents go on and on about schools! Grin

You can check Good Schools Guide and Ofsted site to get an idea. Also, check the school's website and don't forget to also visit the site to get an impression.

Personally, we like Hawley (it's really small and lovely - but only until they're 8), Primrose Hill ('outstanding'), Torriano (far, in Kentish Town, but also 'outstanding' and with secondary).

Apart from state schools, there are also some interesting private schools in the area. Or, if you dont mind religion you also have CofE schools. Ask the council for a list/brochure of all schools.

Good luck!

You can look at Westminster schools too. I know someone from near where you are who got into Soho Parish, which is lovely.
