hi there, my family and I (me, hubby and 2.5 year old son) are moving to Norwich next year and I'm really struggling to find a nursery. We are sure that we're moving to the golden triangle area and I am very interested in recreation road infant school, i just have no idea on what nurseries there are around that area, any suggestions would be great because i really need to get my son on a list. thanks.

A friend uses Chapelfield Nursery and has always said good things. Rec Red has a v.good reputation and is always over-subscribed so worth looking at their criteria carefully.

Hello,

We've just moved into the Golden Triangle area and I had problems finding a nursery which wasn't fun. Peapods is where most kids around here go, but there is a massive waiting list - I'd get on it asap if you are interested but might be a year or so wait.. In the meantime... my son goes to Stretton Nursery which is fine, although its a private school to and they have to wear a uniform from 2.5 but hopefully we'll have somewhere else by then. I've also heard that Notre Dame Prep School on Dereham Rd is good = they take children from 2 years old and Norwich Day Nursery on Cadge Rd (site of Earlham Early Years Centre) - guess depends on whether you want to walk or drive. Hope that helps
ps my daughter got into rec road despite us applying v late as we relocating to Norwich recently = it's a big school - obviously depends on how far you live from there though..,.
