Salisbury-easy to meet new people??

Hello,
My husband and two under 4s are moving to Salisbury at the end of the year/beginning of next year before my DD starts school Sept 2014. Is it easy to meet people generally at the swings etc?? We'll be living near to the station as DH commutes to London. In case we miss the primary school deadline in Jan does anyone know anything much about Leehust Swan (would rather not go private but needs must if we aren't in in time though might need to sell a kidney or lung to do so!)?

Thanks!

Hi we are making the move too, hopefully over the summer. I have a 1.5,3 and 5 year old. Would be happy to meet up for a coffee once we are there :-)

hi
Just moved to Salisbury.. Anyone can advise on Sarum Saint Pauls? The SAT data and OFFSTED look good. If you have kids/ friends going there, how is this school?

swillts · 04/06/2014 20:52

i wouldnt tbh - is in an area with lots of ex council housing

Sarum St Paul's School is a very good school and has been a good school for many years. Just had Ofsted report - the school was given Outstanding in every category. I have 3 children and my youngest is still a this school.
My advice to all parents moving to Salisbury and wondering about schools - please visit as many schools as you can and make up your own mind Good luck!
