Moving to Chepstow

Hi, we are moving to Chepstow from Cardiff in July 2013, we have a 15 month old son, was wondering if there are some good groups to go to in the area? and hoping to make new friends :) x

You are in the right place kazlar! We are looking to arrange some Mumsnet Meet ups in future. I will add some more toddler groups for Chepstow. There are lots of attractions in your new area, and Chepstow people are a friendly bunch! Check out Whizz Kids soft play just behind Tescos.

When I had DD1 (now 8) I used to go to the methodist church playgroup which was very friendly, Tutshill playgroup was good too, the rhyme time and the story time at the Chepstow library (still going on and they have a new Welsh version as well).
They also had a creche at the leisure centre for a few sessions of adult's lessons a week.

Chepstow library "cyclh ti a ti" tuesdays 10.15-11.15 am, baby rhyme time every other thursday 2.15-2.45 pm (last one was 20 th of June so it is on this week?), under fives story time fridays 10.15-1045 am. That is recent news.

Methodist church playgroup used to be tuesdays or fridays (you had too choose one or the other) and Tutshill tuesdays. Not sure how it is nowadays, DD2 is almost 3.5 and we moved back in the area only 2 months ago.

I would like to Kazlar but I am carless and 10 miles from Chepstow now !
Hope you can find a nice playgroup. They where some in Sedbury too "busy bee" or something... Your HV should have a list or try the chepstow library (they were and are still lovely in there)
