single parent house share

Hi

I wondered if any other single parents would be interested in a single parent house share. It is really common in London and works really well in the kids have company as well as us adults.

A bit more about me.... I am 30 and work (self employed) and am also at uni... My daughter is nearly 7. I am massively into the outdoors and especially horses. We have a pony and a cheeky 2 year old Tibetan terrier who loves people that much she would lick a burglar lol. Anything else just ask :)

This is such a good idea! I know some of my friends have been dreaming of the same thing, so I will send them this way.

I would have said yes what a fab idea til I got to the dog bit! My kids are absolutely terrified of them. Might look in to it though. I wonder where that sort of thing would be advertised.

A good place to find one to one friends is The Friendship Bench and of course you can meet people at the group meet ups too!

Hi,
I know i'm not a mum but I am a single father. I have 2 children (abigail, 12 and alfie, 5) who I see 3 days a week. I am a primary school teacher, currently working in Preston and am very easy to get along with. Not sure if you will have already sorted it as I saw you added this in June but it was worth a try.

Thanks
Steve
