Hi Kerried, what have you tried so far and what kind of thing do you have in mind? Are you seeking meals out type things or boxes of chocolates/wine? Where are you located in the county - this might help us with some ideas :)

A phone call or a visit might be better - it's harder to ignore than an email. Have you got a 'target' list as well? For instance, try and decide what would be good as a 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize etc. and then when you approach people you can go in with the 'we're looking for a restaurant meal' for our 1st prize, we'd love it to be such a nice restaurant as yours and it will be really helping your local community.' Etc.

Places that spring to mind (I'm quite familiar with the Worcs/Kiddi area) are: Meals from one of the nicer pubs in Ombersley or The Chequers in Cutnall Green, Approach the Stourport Manor Hotel, or any other local hotel to see if they could give a day pass to their facilities with a spa treatment, Softplay - family ticket - Little Acorns in St Johns in Worcester is meant to be really good, Top Barn Farm have loads of family type stuff on, tickets to see something at the Artrix in Bromsgrove/the Swan Theatre, Waitrose in Droitwich might donate something tasty, as might Checketts in Ombsersley - or you might be able to get Checktts to give some kind of voucher....

I'll keep thinking :)

Hi, we ran a Tombola raffle at my childs school. They asked all the parents to donate tombola jars and gave the class that had the most tombolas a pizza lunch. The kids were very encouraged by this and there ended up being a tie for winning place. A great resources for jar ideas is: www.mylittlepartyplanner.com/tombola-jars. It has an A-Z list of ideas. Hope this helps
