has anyone had a legoland party? my little boy will be 6 in August and ive told him NO WAY because it will cost us a minimum of £162 (this is for 9children-no minimum No. of number of adults) and includes food, compared to land of play at £120 i would rather the latter but as he REALLY wants to go, i could b persuaded/put off in either direction!

I have never been to a party there, but when we went for a visit we found it to be filthy and there was tonnes of damage. They could run a fantastic party but given how utterly rubbish they were when we were there (and the lack of response to us when we commented on the filth) then personally I wouldn't use them. I'd rather spend the cash on a giant bucket of lego and let them run wild at home!

Had a party there back at the beginning of the year. Kids absolutely loved it as there was so much to keep them entertained (rides, go karting, indoor climbing area, 3D cinema which was particularly popular). We just paid for a party room and the birthday cake/food which was very basic but the staff couldn't have been friendlier with kid games and drinks for the parents. You receive a complimentary group photo too.

I'm not a big fan of land of play so am biased towards LEGOLAND. It might be a bit on the pricey side but was well worth it.
