Last weekend of June is Q-Con XX at Queens.
I heard about it via a student when I was discussing the issues around taking my teenager to Comic Con in Dublin and he suggested this neat little alternative on the doorstep.
So if you are interested yourself in online gaming or cosplay then you may well want to come anyway but if you have a DC who loves gaming then you might have a chance to get them off their electronic devices and into the fresh(ish) air at Q-Con XX.
We parental chaperones outcasts can meet there too and commiserate at no longer being 'cool' enough to be seen at public events with our DC's.
It is on Fri, Sat & Sun, is £20 for the whole weekend and you can dip in and out as you like. Some rooms are restricted according to age but you can gather the info by following the link in the messages on the south belfast meet up page - where coinkydinkly you can sign up.
