My daughter is at Hayesfield. She HATES it. Which private school is best. She is academic but not sporty. Fees are not a problem I just want her to be happy

The most academic of the Bath schools is King Edwards, plus it is the only day school - I have only ever heard good reports. I think this should be your first port of call based on the little you have said!
I have friends with children at Prior Park who have done very well - although it is catholic, it does not force this aspect upon children. They speak very highly of it. Monkton is less academic - also quite churchy I believe. Royal High School and Kingswood always do well - but may be on the wrong side of town for you to access easily. But RHS is all girls if this is important?
All Independent schools do quite a lot of sport, so this is usually just part of school life. It does not mean that she would have to participate in matches every weekend. Usually as they progress up the school the sport takes on greater variety and there becomes less emphasis on traditional team games for those not inclined that way. I believe that music and drama are also particularly good at KES if she is interested in these areas at all.

Where do you live? What is it that she hates about Hayesfield?

Have you considered state schools in Wiltshire, or Ralph Allen?
