Hi, we are also moving to Bicester and would need some advise what areas to avoid. Our daughter is 13 months old so we don't want to buy somewhere rough. Any views on the Greenwood homes development. Viewed a really nice house there but the area didn't look so nice. Also looking around Bure Park.
Thanks for your help

Hi, I have lived in Bicester for many years, Bicester is a Lovely town but like all towns all the estates will have a bad point somewhere. Greenwood homes is lovely, but like u say some parts are better than others, bure park is lovely but again u will find something there not to your liking.
Keep an open mind when searching for your home. It's about the house u turn into a home. Good luck searching. Xxxx

If you are interested in Primary Schools the Greenwood homes one could be said to be better than the Bure Park one. Greenwood homes is generally a pretty nice area. Bure Park is just a bit newer and therefore can be a bit more expensive. Hence you will find a lot of people commute to London from that estate, less so than Greenwood homes. I have lived in Bicester for about 10 years and I recently moved house. I happily looked at house on both those estates. I also have a house on Southwold and lived there for quite a few years. It is fine, although the school is undergoing some changes as it has a new head following some problems. I have just recently moved from Langford Village which is also a nice estate with a good school which is quite active in the local community.

Its better to say where is nice than it is where is horrible as there are nice people wherever you go. So I have steered clear of dissing places!
