Relocating to Berks/Bucks

Just been offered a new job (including a relocation package) with a company based in Uxbridge, Middlesex.

I know very little about the area but know enough to not want to move to Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Staines, Slough, Harrow etc.

Is there anyone round the Maidenhead, Windsor, Amersham areas that could offer some advice?

I have 2 young kids so need areas with good schools, reasonable house prices (3/4 bed for £350k), good train links into London and of course commutable to Uxbridge.

I'd be really grateful for any advice.....thanks

Hello! There's some lovely villages on the outskirts of Slough in Bucks- depends a little what you're looking for? I'm not a fan of Amersham, but Beaconsfield, Farnham Common, Colnbrook, Iver, Dorney are really nice- moslty smallish villages. also could consider Denham, Denham Green and Rickmansworth too? If you're willing to be a further afield, Windsor is lovely. I live in Bracknell which is a bit further but I love living here., Very green, cheapish and family friendly!
